How long are Opal cruises?
Most guests charter for a full week, Saturday to Saturday. We also offer shorter options — a midi cruise of three to four nights, or a single day charter — for those whose schedule calls for something more compact.
Is this suitable if I have never chartered before?
Absolutely. Many of our guests are chartering for the first time. The crew handles everything from navigation to provisioning to itinerary planning. Your only job is to decide how you would like to spend the day.
When is the best time to charter in Croatia?
The season runs from May through October. May and June are quieter, with empty bays and cooler evenings. July and August bring warm water, lively harbour towns, and peak energy across the islands. September and early October offer the best of both: warm seas, golden light, and a more relaxed pace on the water.
Do we need any sailing experience?
None at all. This is a crewed motor yacht. The captain handles the navigation, the docking, the route decisions. You handle the sunscreen.
