FrequentlyAsked Questions: everything you need to know about experiencing the smoothest week at sea.
Are the routes fixed or can we change them?
The routes on our site are starting points, not scripts. Your captain adjusts daily based on weather, your preferences, and local knowledge. If you fall in love with a bay and want to stay an extra night, the itinerary bends around you.
Can we depart from a different city?
Most charters begin and end at Marina Baotić near Split and Trogir, but alternative pickup locations can be arranged depending on availability. We also offer one-way routes, such as Split to Dubrovnik, for guests who want to cover more coastline.
What time does the charter start and end?
Embarkation is typically in the late afternoon, around 17:00, giving the crew time to prepare the yacht after the previous charter. Disembarkation is around 09:00 on the final morning. Both can be adjusted to suit your travel plans.
What happens if the weather changes?
Your captain monitors conditions continuously and adjusts the route as needed. Croatia’s coastline is full of sheltered bays and alternative harbours, so a change in weather rarely means a change in quality. It often means discovering somewhere you would not have found otherwise.
Do we stay in marinas or anchor in bays?
A mix of both, and the balance is entirely up to you. Some guests prefer the energy of docking in a harbour town every evening. Others prefer quiet nights at anchor with the stars overhead. Most weeks land somewhere in between, and the captain will read the group and suggest accordingly.
